Hello, my name is Andreas. I am 70 years old, and on March 11, 2024, I underwent shoulder surgery performed by shoulder specialist Mr. Kenawy at KMG Clinic in Bad Frankenhausen.
My right shoulder joint was completely replaced with an artificial joint. The operation, personally performed by Mr. Kenawy, went smoothly without any complications.
For the first six weeks, my arm was supported in a brace and I followed passive physiotherapy only. Starting from the seventh week, I began a three-week rehabilitation program at the Celenus Clinic in Bad Langensalza, where I received daily active therapy under the supervision of trained specialists to restore shoulder mobility.
The rehabilitation was successful, and as of May 23, 2024, I can move my right shoulder again without pain and with almost no limitations. The surgery was just over two months ago, and full mobility is expected within six to nine months.
The severe pain I had before the operation, caused by arthritis and joint wear, is now completely gone.
My sincere thanks to Mr. Kenawy and his team. I highly recommend him to anyone experiencing similar shoulder problems.
